3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup sugar
1 cup butter
1 egg
1 cup sour cream
Mix
the dry ingredients together. Work in the butter like pie crust (use a
pastry cutter or two knives). Make a well in the center and drop in 1
egg, add 1 cup sour cream. ( may need a little more, but just enough to
make a soft dough. Roll 1/8 inch thick, cut, sprinkle with sugar.Bake 8 to 10 minutes in 375 degree oven until light straw color. Cool on counter.
